Send email with new data (Update Selected)

I have a table with an email field and some data. When I update the record, I have the event section setup to send an email to the email address in the table with the data. Now with this new "update selected" button, I can only send the email for one record and then there is an error. How can I setup all the other records to send as well? I understand I can use the "Email selected records" and create a button but I would like to automate this to eliminate this step.
Secondly, is it just me or does the "Back to List" button not work after updating selected records on Firefox and Chrome?
