 FTP upload "\templates_c\dummy"

Hi
I notice at the end of the ftp upload i have ..\templates_c\dummy ... What is it ? It says uploading but nothing happen... Have to wait... Do I have option to skip it or something ?

Try using filezilla it's free and works good for ftp . You will need that folder and file for uploads and pdf view options , see/search in documentation on Templates_c file and you will see why. Note permission settings have to be changed on that folder.

filezilla has that also once you setup site manager and connect it will ask you to ovewrite or just upload changed files. I usually overite all just to make sure , but you have the option of just changed also.

I don't check open uploaded page in browser as you probably need to clean the cache, or refresh to see correct upload.
I would suggest never use ftp from browser url . alot of security issues in my opinion.

Thx for your reply. I finally solve problem by setting the firewall and our new webserver. All really fine now.
