Hello,
If I load a v8.1 project on v9.0 and don't do ANY changes, will it be EXACTLY the same output?
I mean, how safe is it to just load the "old" project with v9.0, build and upload to customer?
Thanks,
Jim

If you need to get exactly the same output you should keep version 8.1 for existing projects. In version 9.0 output will be different even if you do not change anything.

I can confirm that the screens don't carry over with the same attributes. For example, my 8.x screens were all centered. When converted to 9.x, the Add and View screens are left-justified; only the Edit screens remain centered.
Fortunately, Xlinesoft allows you to retain both versions on your desktop, so you can take your time moving to 9.x.

Thank you sir!
Jim

Thanks for posting your experience. I am mostly afraid of possible bugs in the generated code because of the early maturity of v9.0.
I may wait for a few maintenance releases before I migrate.

Jim
