I'm converting an app to version 9. I was only 80% complete anyway so I thought this would be the best time to get my feet wet with 9. Ouch... Most of my carefully crafted screen will have to be re-done. That will take a bit of time but hopefully worth it.

  1. I have a page that is checked to have a PDF view for printing, but with 9 there isn't a link on the screen to send the page to Adobe. How do we get the pdf?
  2. Has the 64 bit Version 9 lost all connection to .mdb databases? I get an error when trying to load even the sample files.
I suppose sql is the preferred db of choice now? But Shucks.. for small to medium projects, an mdb was sure convenient. What's the consensus of users? What db do you like best to use with version 9?

Joe,
this is the same question you have asked in November 2015 and answer is still the same. If you need to use MS Access you need to install 32bit version of ASPRunner.NET. 64bit database drivers for MS Access do not exist (or do not work).

My apologies.
I recently installed the 64 bit version of MS Office 2016 and simply made the mistake of putting too much faith in believing that Mickeysoft would have actually made the entire package 64 bit including the db drivers.
color me a wishful thinker... <img src='https://asprunner.com/forums/file.php?topicimage=1&fieldname=reply&id=79937&image=1&table=forumreplies' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
