I want to create a Username from First 5 Chars of 2 field and insert this into field Username - is there an example of this anywhere?

I also want to create a pace for running times for example 10 km in 45 mins
10 = 6.2 miles where http://www.google.co...q=miles+in+a+km 1 kilometre = 0.621371192 miles

00:45:00 / 6.2 = 00:07:15 minutes per mile and hence calculate Miles/hour Km/hour mins/km

Ideally show miles column but convert from km if that column is filled in.

Even better would be to also have a tick box for marathon and half marathon which would enter a specified rounded figure in the miles section.
